Job Description
This summer, we have an exciting opportunity envisaged for two summer interns in the areas of data science and economics.
The interns will collaborate on a project investigating macroeconomic and fiscal risks.
The project will involve the two interns working together on exploring relevant literature, gathering relevant inputs, and employing text analysis to develop a sophisticated risk toolkit. This would enhance the Council’s capacity for risk analysis on an ongoing basis.
Experienced staff in the Council’s Secretariat will provide dedicated support throughout the project.
Interns will come away from the project with experience of what it is like to work in a professional organisation developing high-impact research with direct policy implications.
The internships are temporary posts lasting up to twelve weeks and attract a stipend of €534.34 per week, with flexible remote working solutions on offer.
Specific dates will primarily be based on candidates’ availability.
We will select a panel of candidates for any appointment.
Closing date
The closing date for applications is Friday, 22nd March 2024.
The Irish Fiscal Advisory Council is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to selecting candidates on the basis of merit.
